Day wise Itinerary

 

 

DAY 1 : Arrive Kathmandu

Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet a MakeMyTrip representative and get transferred to the hotel. Kathmandu – the capital city of Nepal – is a treasure chest of architectural marvels, informative museums and revered religious sites. Its location between the Shivalik and the Great Himalayan Ranges, and its moderate altitude bestows it with a pleasant weather pattern for most of the year.
After check-in at the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and then stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2 : In Kathmandu | City tour of Kathmandu

Today, enjoy a full Day city tour of Kathmandu (06 Hours), visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living Goddess and stroll through the old Durbar Square. Pashupatinath Temple, which is one of the most revered shrines of the Hindus. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This holy shrine has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Boudhanath is a giant, almost-spherical stupa, located in the north-western part of the city. There are various myths about its origin, and it is widely believed that it was constructed sometime after the death of Lord Buddha. The whole structure consists of a three-stepped 16-sided platform and a white dome atop it, crowned by a small golden pyramid. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy exploring the markets, pubs and casinos on own.

DAY 3 : On to Chitwan (170 kms / approx. 5 Hours drive)

Today you will proceed on a drive from Kathmandu valley into the subtropical Gangetic plains – the Terai region, to Chitwan. Located at the foothills of the Himalayas, Chitwan is famous for its rich flora, fauna and wildlife, especially the single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal tiger! On arrival in Chitwan, check into your hotel.(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

DAY 4 : In Chitwan | Morning Game Viewing at Chitwan National Park

Early morning, proceed on a safari in Elephant into the Royal Chitwan National Park, passing through Sal forests, riverine vegetation and ‘elephant grass’ savannah. Spot different species of birds, butterflies and themost famous single-horned Asian rhinoceros. If lucky you will spot the Royal Bengal. Rest of the
afternoon is free for nature walks. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 5 : On to Pokhara (150 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)

Today you will proceed on a picturesque drive to the enchanting city of Pokhara. On arrival, check into your hotel. Rest of the evening is free to enjoy the serenity and magnificence of the Himalayas. Enjoy a leisurelywalk around the serene Phewa Lake. (Breakfast)

DAY 6 : In Pokhara

The day is spent unraveling the wonders of the Pokhara Valley. Enjoy Half Day a visit to the Bindebheshni Temple,  the Gupteshwar cave where the Shiva lingam is preserved and finally a visit Devi’s fall. In the evening enjoy boating on Phewa Lake – on Direct Payment basis by your own (Breakfast).

DAY 7 : On to Kathmandu (200 kms / approx. 6 hour drive)

Drive back to Kathmandu, where on arrival you will check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free for last
minute shopping and perhaps that last minute bash at winning the jackpot in the casino (on direct payment basis). (Breakfast).

DAY 8 : Return home with happy memories

Today transferred to Kathmandu International Airport for your onward journey.(Breakfast)
